Whether your dog is a country dog
or a city dog, a working dog or a beloved pet, herding could be the sport for you. That's because
herding dogs are meant to herd. Without that outlet, they often become
difficult companions. Training them to herd restores their confidence and instinct, teaches them
to think, improves their personality and creates a relationship with your dog that is both fun and
rewarding. Proper and regular training through classes or private lessons, is essential to making
your dog the best he or she can be. Start with our herding instinct test. If your dog shows
basic herding behavior, then you can sign up for training classes at our first-class
facilities.
Classes run year round at Drummond Ranch. Weekend clinics and private
lessons also are held regularly at the ranch.
